Is there a fee for the initial assessment?
No. Our assessments are FREE, commitment-free AND Judgment free!
How much do you charge for your services?
Our rates vary depending on the size of your project. We have a 3-hour minimum (some projects may require a 4 hour minimum) and all pricing will be provided once we can assess your space(s).
Do I need to be present for the assessment?
Yes. We are excited to meet you to discuss your organizing challenges! We need to get to know you so that we can provide customized solutions.
How long will an assessment take for you to complete?
We are considerate of your time and we will be quick, we do need to make sure we gather all the necessary information in order to service you and your space properly. Generally an assessment runs 30-45 minutes. If needed, we can provide your assessment virtually.
Should I try to tidy up the space before you come?
Absolutely not! Leave everything just as it is – we will assess the space(s) free of judgment – that is our pledge to you!
Will you be taking any pictures of my space?
Yes. We need to take pictures in order to create a customized plan. The pictures provide a base template for our team, giving them an understanding of the project prior to arriving. Plus, the before pictures serve as an exciting comparison with the amazing after pictures!
How soon do you start after the assessment?
We love to organize and want to get started right away! But first, we will email you an estimate along with our Terms & Conditions. Once approved, we will schedule your project as soon as possible!
Do I need to buy products or organizing containers before you arrive?
Nope — you can leave all of that to us! We always try to repurpose whatever storage solutions you already own. If additional products are needed, we will bring those with us and invoice as necessary. Before buying products, it’s always best to first declutter what you no longer want to keep, and then evaluate your storage and organizational needs.
Should I clean before my organizing session?
Tidying up a space isn’t necessary since it helps us to know how and where you work and live which gives us an opportunity to organize in a way that is natural and helpful to you. As finalization of your project, we will wipe surfaces and sweep or vacuum to present a fresh, decluttered, and organized space. For heavy duty cleaning, we suggest a cleaning service.
Should I be home when organizers are working?
We get this question a lot. While there are some projects where we don’t require you to be home (like unpacking your home after a move), it is helpful for you to be available, especially if we are decluttering. The decluttering typically happens at the start of the session, and once we’re done with that phase, you’re welcome to go about your business! We work independently to plan the best use of your space and put everything back together.
Where do unwanted items go?
We are so proud to work with many non-profit resources across San Antonio. We spend countless hours sorting through all of our clients donations so that we can place them directly in the hands of those in need.
I’m already pretty organized, why should I hire you?
We are more than organization. Sometimes our clients want a new system or are adding new spaces to their lifestyle (like work-from-home offices, creative studios, or children’s rooms) and just want a helping hand or outside perspective. We all have so much on our plate these days, sometimes we just need a helping hand to get things done! Additional services, including move management and interior design, may be a better fit for those already happy with their organization systems.
Can you help me move?
YES! We love to help our clients move. As part of our move management service we can assist with decluttering, donating, and prepping your home before you move, and we can unpack your whole home so you start your new chapter with beautiful, organized systems. What city/areas do you service?
Sorted Simple is based out of San Antonio, Texas. We help clients all over Bexar County, and selective cities beyond. For those not geographically close to us, we offer virtual organization and consulting services as well. If you would like more information about a project in your home or workspace, contact us!
